I'm talking about the application "Advanced Audio Recorder" that is available for free on Google Play Store. Offered by Vishakapatnam based developer Mr. Pavan Kalyan Neerukonda. The App sizes only 5.3 MB and is having 50,000 downloads and 4 star rating. Also the app doesn't display any kind of ads
How to Record Binaural Audio?
1. Firstly install and open the app "Advanced Audio Recorder" , Tap the “Three Dot Menu” and choose “Settings”
2. Select your desired storage location, I’ll recommend you to record under Internal Storage but if you want to record long audio then insert and select an SD card
3. Leave the “Recording Source” option and set “Sample Rate” option as “44.1kHz CD”
4. Set “Encoding” as “.wav” if you need quality, “.aac” if you want to save storage
5. Select “Mode’ and set it as “Stereo”
Don’t manipulate any other settings if you don’t know what you are doing, change at your risk only. Now you are good to go, Record something awesome.
Technically speaking, you can't record true binaural audio on your smartphone but by far this is the least we can do
